History puzzles: Il mulino dell'imperatore

With the bella stagione just about to arrive, why not go exploring the beaches of Positano. In addition to La Spiaggia del Fornillo and the main beach, la Spiaggia Grande, there are several smaller ones waiting to be discovered. Sometimes not easy to reach, sometimes you can go there just by boat. Here is the story, or better, history of La Spiaggia di Arienzo which is located to the east of the main beach, into the direction of Praiano.
Arienzo
Legend has it that the Roman emperor Tiberius who retired to Capri in 26 BC, was very suspicious of real or imagined enemies. In particular he was said to have been afraid of becoming poisoned. For this reason, he  did not trust in the flour available to bake bread on Capri, but got his flour to bake bread from just across the sea, from Positano !!
La discesa
The mugnaio grinding the flour for the emperor had his mulino (mill) on the beach of Arienzo, and he was a libertino (liberated slave) called Arienzo. 269 stairs lead down to the beach which is 90 meters long, amidst luxurious vegetation (lemon and olive trees, ever-green oak, palme nane dwarf palms). Due to its exposure to the south-west, the beach gets sunlight all day long.
